The American Leadership Academy (ALA) is a program offered by the Anoual Association in partnership with the U.S. Embassy in Morocco. The program is designed to develop the skills of emerging Moroccan civic leaders and runs for seven months. It consists of both virtual and in-person components, allowing participants to engage with the material and each other in a variety of ways.
The program is specifically tailored to young people, with 35 youth participants working closely with seven mentors to develop their leadership skills and work on projects related to civic engagement and social development. Through the program, participants learn about project management, strategic planning, and leadership development. They also engage with issues facing their communities and work to develop solutions to address these issues.
The American Leadership Academy aims to equip participants with the skills and knowledge needed to make positive contributions to their communities and become leaders in their respective fields. By emphasizing leadership development, critical thinking, and project-based learning, the program helps participants develop the skills necessary to succeed in the global community.
The American Leadership Academy is just one part of a larger effort to promote leadership and civic engagement in Morocco. By partnering with the U.S. Embassy and working with young people, the Anoual Association hopes to create a generation of leaders who are dedicated to making positive change in their communities and beyond. Through programs like the American Leadership Academy, young people in Morocco have the opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge needed to make a difference in the world.
